The thought of captivity for humans makes me feel sick. It’s not right for people to be held captive , especially during the Holocaust.  People during the Holocaust were not aware of the fact that many Jews were being taken to concentration camps by the Nazis, even the Jews didn’t know this until the Rabbi first told them. Left and right the Jews were losing their lives one after another. Sometimes they were even shot in public.      Some residents of Denmark and other European countries were fed up with the Holocaust’s doings. Those certain people didn’t just sit around wishing that they could do something, and living in fear of the Nazis. They just went out and did it.       The Resistance is what these courageous people were called. Every day Jews were being kept in Danish houses for safe keeping. Some Jews didn’t have a choice and even stayed in boats, roofs, and even floors. This temporary solution towards Jews being captured is very similar to the Under Ground Rail Road.      These people were very young that fought in the Resistance. Usually people think that older and more mature people fight in wars like this.      But these students risked their lives to save others. In my point of view these human beings were wonderful influences when it comes  to bravery or putting others first.   I know that if I was a Jew all my thanks would go to the Danish friends, strangers, and the Resistance. I also know that those citizens went above and beyond to help.

The tree is flowing with golden tinsle. Decorations stack beautifully ontop of  a  branch of the fake pine bristles. A star on top gloows as brightly as a wildfire. A strong evergreen is lifting up the decorations to be noticed every year.    Presents have been wrapped in colors that can be named starting from A to Z. Who knew that such wonderful things can last forever from what’s inside them.     Family gatherings take place every time Christmas comes around. Opening presents 1 by 1 each person makes a memeory each time they open something.       Christmas spirit is around every corner. Who’s heard of  ” Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year”? Well to me it sure does speak the truth.
