My name is Lauren Ummel and here are some things about me:

My life is about being constantly involved whether it be school sports and activities, church mission trips and events, or being around my family and friends as much as I can. I have a younger brother, Luke, who is in middle school, a mom who teaches special ED at Sabine Elementary, and a dad who is the administrator for Buckner children and family services in Longview. I have always been the person to speak out first, unafraid of what people would say or think of me, so in other words I’m outgoing. I am a junior at White Oak High School and plan on going to Baylor University after I graduate. Honestly, I have no idea what I have in mind for a career but that is where I place my faith and trust in The Lord. The summer of my freshman year, I went on a ten day mission trip to Ethiopia and Kenya with my dad and endured a life changing experience that I will never forget, as well forever cherish the quality time I spent with my earthly father and my Heavenly Father.
