When you hear the words lab safety you probably think of  big science projects, things blowing up, or even a fire. When I hear the words lab safety I think of ways to keep me and my friends safe. Safety is a big importance to science. There could be a life threatening situation happening, and you may know nothing about how to protect yourself from harm’s arms. Fire, being an example. There might be a mishap in the lab causing something to go into flames.  Acid being another example. Acid is a dangerous chemical that can eat your skin and burn you if tampered with inappropriately.  Lastly is clothing hazards. Your clothing is not just a fashion statement, but also protection of some sort. Aprons are another way to keep you and your body safe from chemical or physical harm.
